While walking in the city the other day, I wanted to take some pictures of reflections on buildings. Here are three of the better ones from that trip. It rained on and off throughout the day and that made for some awesome clouds and when the sun shined through, it provided great light and reflections.

Also this is the first time I’ve done HDR. I’m not really a fan of HDR but I thought these pictures called for a slight tweak. With the new HDR Toning in Photoshop CS5 it was only a matter of time until I gave it a shot. I didn’t want to go over board so I duplicated the original picture and placed it over the HDR version and lowered the opacity to just let the HDR Toning come through. While this isn’t really HDR, I’m pleased with the way they turned out and I’m sure I’ll be doing more in the future.

Today was probably the hottest day of the year so far, and I thought I’d try to cool off by getting some Fro-Yo from Saxbys Coffee Shop. With my recent acquisition of the Canon 7D, why not take some shot?

After a day in the city, me and my girlfriend visited the Reading Terminal Market, one of the best farmers markets in the philadelphia area and a great place to take pictures. Here are a few converted into black and white.
